ELSA is represented at nearly 300 faculties in 44 countries and consists of 50,000 members. ELSA association has been active for 39 years. Today, over 51000 students from 44 European countries, from 371 Faculties of Law are a part of ELSA network. ELSA’s mission is to contribute to legal education and to improve understanding and international cooperation between law students. ELSA provides their members to take a look outside their domestic interests of law and to be part of a large legal community to ensure that their legal skills will come to a best practice. ELSA provides for example internships abroad, Moot Court Competitions at the European Court of Human Rights and the International Trade Law Organisation, a place in the Legal Research Group in cooperation with the Council of Europe, Summer and Winter Law Schools, Study Visits, Institutional Visits and loads of local academic activities, seminars and conferences. ELSA Estonia has two local groups. You can find us in Tallinn and Tartu. Local groups were created in 2013. The patron of ELSA Estonia is the Estonian Chancellor of Justice, Ülle Madise.
