FASTER's mission is to create and cultivate a valuable movement of Filipino Americans in the technology community. Through strategic initiatives ranging from education and professional development within the industry, we seek to attract, advance, and excel the network of Filipino Americans talent in tech companies in a range of professions including, but not limited to: engineers, designers, managers, scientists, entrepreneurs, etc). In doing so, we strengthen professional ties and networks across the United States and provide a foundation for Filipino American youth to build their careers in the technology industry. FASTER-Silicon Valley is the founding chapter of FASTER and includes areas located in the San Francisco Bay Area inclusive of all parts of the Bay, SF, East Bay, South Bay, and Peninsula. We are a part of the FINe national network - Filipino Innovators Network that includes pillars of community ranging from government, academia, industry, and community organizations directly servicing the Filipino American community in the United States.
