The Social Value Business is a dynamic and creative values led business. We provide a full range of support and development services for organisations that would like to research, analysis, measure, evaluate and showcase their social impact and value. We have a strong history of supporting clients to evaluate and showcase their social impact and value, in ways that speak to their key stakeholders. The Social Value Business was set up as a separate social business in 2014. We have a combined experience of over 30 years working and supporting social value organisations. Our social impact and value consultants support charities, social enterprises, private businesses and the public sector. In 2014, we created the UK’s only Social Value Quality Mark that recognises a trusted and legitimate approach to accounting for organisational value. Our approach is unique for three reasons: Firstly, we support organisations to demonstrate their full and diverse social impact and value using a blended approach. This means that we use a range of social accounting models including, Social Return on Investment (SROI), Local Multiplier Effect and models that have been developed by our consultants. These include; the Value Intelligence Programme, Partnership Value and Social Contract. Secondly, we support all organisations to embed social impact and value reporting within their organisation and use it as a method of organisational and business development. This can support the creation of new products and services and create new and sustainable income streams. Thirdly, we are the only organisation in the UK that is able to award the UK’s only mark for social value, the Social Value Quality Mark.
