The knowledge and insight of the firm’s principal, David M. Lashley, is exhibited by 39 years of practice, diversified projects, numerous clients, and sincere personal enjoyment for the profession and the practice of landscape architecture. Having begun his practice in 1974, he translates his professional expertise in both private and public sectors to the rest of his firm. Lashley & Associates has completed over 1000 projects in residential, commercial, institutional, urban design, parks, recreation, industrial, transportation and tourism planning and design. Our Philosophy The development of a site must reflect its significance within the fabric of the community through protection of significant environments where possible and development of the site with attention to detail and its fit within the community. The design must also reflect the project program and the functional needs such as pathways, parking, facilities and circulation on the site.
