For the past ten years, Rocket Science Tutors (RST) had deployed a group of accomplished engineers and UCI engineering/science graduate students VOLUNTEERING their time, expertise and enthusiasm to conduct a 24 week, after-school STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) program in Santa Ana, California schools. RST, was a 501c-3 non-profit,that brought STEM to life by exciting middle school students with real-world examples, hands-on labs and an inquiry-based curriculum. Students build experiments, use math skills to calculate the outcome, measure performance and compare results, reinforcing the math/science link and providing the thrill of “making something”. RST’s internally-developed program is delivered by one instructor to every five students. RST has now merged into "The Academy" Charter High School in Santa Ana,CA and no longer exists as a non-profit Organization. Founder and CEO: Anthony J.
