European Speciality Finance is establishing a distinctive and high-quality presence in the marketplace-lending (P2P) sector. The ESF team has a wealth of senior management experience in institutional asset management. By bringing this financial, operational and technology expertise, we aim to lay a solid foundation for the development of select marketplace-lending businesses. ESF is taking majority and minority stakes in suitable P2P platforms. We will also operate a speciality funding vehicle investing in, and underwriting loans on, these platforms. We are working with a range of institutional investors on direct investment in these businesses and investment in their loan portfolios.
