Youth Flourish Outdoors improves the lives of young people through nature based adventure programs that enhance and develop strengths and skills, ultimately building mental health and strong self-awareness. We do this through best practice programs, research, and the promotion of evidenced informed models. YFO is committed to preventing harm to young people who have had disrupted development, including all forms of abuse and neglect but also through other non-deliberate misfortunes. We intervene in the progression of trauma based and disrupted developmental problems that often progress onto adult mental ill-health.
