Empire Securities Group Pty Ltd (ESG) is a financial services firm founded in 2007 and headquartered in the Sydney CBD. The firm has extensive experience in raising equity capital for companies in global natural resources, VC-IPO. The company was founded by Gerard Farley, who has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding Empire Securities Group, Gerard worked in New York as Director of International Institutional Research Sales at Merrill Lynch (Bank of America ML) and a Senior Vice President of International Equities at James Capel (HSBC). Gerard's eldest son Tom (UT BBA) worked with the firm before joining a hedge fund in New York and his second son Felix (LSE BSC) has since joined the firm, alongside a strong team of analysts.
