Secant Publishing was founded to honor and deepen the rich heritage of literature from the Eastern Shore of Chesapeake Bay. Best known for its oysters, blue crabs, and world class boating and sailing, this region has also proved a fertile hatchery of great writers and writing for over four centuries. Secant seeks to recognize and publish classics old and new, offering a combination of digital reprints and original publication of new works in both print and digital format.
