Mid-Atlantic Manual Therapy Consultants is a Physical Therapy Continuing Education provider that was created by clinicians for therapists. We are a privately owned, 2 person partnership, by two practicing Physical Therapists. With over 2/3 of course time dedicated to intensive lab instruction, no more than a 10 to 1 student to instructor ratio, and all instructors being FAAOMPT’s, participants will leave our courses as more effective and confident clinicians. Our 1.5 day courses include a wide array of Manual Therapy topics, as listed below: -HVLA Mobilization of the Lumbar Spine and Pelvis -HVLA Mobilization of the Cervical and Thoracic Spine & Ribs -HVLA Mobilization of the Extremities -Lumbo-Pelvic Stabilization: an Impairment Based Approach -Neurodynamics: Examination & Mobilization Techniques -Comprehensive Treatment of the Ribcage & Thoracic Outlet Syndrome These seminars are designed to be lab intensive, with special attention paid to ensure that each participant demonstrates safe and effective handling skills.
