Walter Ribeiro da Silva identified the opportunity for creating the university “spin-off” company and founded in April/2009 the MPROJECTS SOLUÇÕES EM INFORMÁTICA LTDA after being incubated by CIETEC – SP. In the same year the MPROJETCS had its RD&I approved by the Innovative Company Program (PRIME) – FINEP (a Brazilian Fostering Agency) and CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development). Banco Itaú being our first client, where we develop a solution to save and validate cryptographic keys according to the PCI standard (Payment Card Industry – electronic payment sector), to a base of 95 million cards. The Company at the moment provides consulting to the Gerson Lehrman Group, based in New York City, on international investors who might be interested in the Brazilian electronic payment sector. The MPROJECTS's headquarters is located on the IPEN / CIETEC at City University of São Paulo, the largest educational, scientific and technological production center in Brazil and has an infrastructure appropriated to develop their projects. Has a strait and direct relationship with leading researchers at the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Institute for Technological Research (IPT), a differentiating factor in producing innovative technology.
