On 8th June 2017 EAST changed its name to reflect significant changes in the payments landscape and its remit now covers both Terminal Security and Payment Security. 26 European countries are represented at EAST by National Members, along with Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, Serbia, South Africa,Turkey, Ukraine and the USA. In addition to the confidential exchange of confidential cross-border information, EAST produces European Payment Terminal Crime Reports, European Fraud Updates and confidential Payment Alerts, Fraud Alerts and Physical Attack Alerts.
