RocGrowth.com is a website that enables Rochester area entrepreneurs to learn more about various local entrepreneurial support organizations and find the right resources to grow their companies. It was created as part of a new initiative known as the Finger Lakes Business Accelerator Cooperative and was born from a strategic plan developed by the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council's Entrepreneurship & Innovation working group. The project is coordinated by High Tech Rochester, the region's lead economic development organization focused on entrepreneurship and innovation-based growth. Other partners include RIT, University of Rochester, Excell Partners, SCORE, America's SBDC NY, Rochester Angel Network. Resources include incubators, accelerators, funding, advisory services, networking, and co-working space. RocGrowth Candids is a monthly series designed to educate, inspire, and connect Rochester's entrepreneurs. Each event features an interview with a local founder who shares lessons learned on the road to building a successful company. The interview is bookended with informal networking where attendees can meet other entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs, form meaningful connections, and inspire others.
