The Outer Hebrides leading provider of affordable homes. We are a charitable. not-for-profit housing association and manage over 2200 rentable properties across the Outer Hebrides. We engage with tenants on key decisions through membership of tenants on our Board and working closely with the Western Isles Housing Associations Communities Forum and the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (Scotland). Our vision is “Making our House Your Home” and we plan to make this happen by delivering on our four strategic goals over the course of our Business Plan. Our four strategic goals are: 1. Placing tenants at the centre of everything we do 2. Investing in an environmentally sustainable way in tenants’ homes 3. Being a good employer that attracts and retains high quality staff 4. Working with partners to contribute to the wellbeing of communities throughout the Outer Hebrides We have made a real impact on our communities in improving standards of rented housing, providing new homes and creating employment opportunities.
