Karebo has been in business since 1997 and has a solid track record in large scale energy efficiency rollouts and other mass rollouts. From 2004 to 2014 Karebo rolled out several large scale projects on a turnkey basis for Eskom resulting in more than 1 600 MW of peak load reduction for Eskom. Since 2015 Karebo has been turned its attention to smart metering projects and the related data analytics component. Karebo is currently busy providing support to Ontec Systems and Dataworld for revenue assurance and revenue improvement projects for City Power. Karebo also has electrical teams all over South Africa doing electrical maintenance for Edcon and Broll amongst others
