We sponsor, oversee, and manage the Board Certification in Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry process. This includes setting standards and requirements for our certification, designing and administering our certification examinations, monitoring and administering our maintenance of certification process, and designing supportive curriculum and educational requirements or benefits for our Diplomates or candidates for certification. Our Board was organized in 1989 and to date has certified over 700 psychiatrists in this specialty.
