Welcome to Flamank, We set up the society to establish a law network in Cornwall. We work in partnership with the Cornwall Campus Law School and with one of the best international law firms, Herbert Smith Freehills to give our members access to events and opportunities which put you ahead of the competition in law applications. As well as this we support the local community and give our members hands on legal experience through our Access to Justice committee, giving members the opportunity to build their C.V. working pro-bono in the wider community. The events include: - Guest lectures and panel events featuring individuals with law expertise. - Firm presentations (usually delivered in Exeter) which are highly informative and engaging giving participants excellent insight into the firm being showcased. - Socials which help you connect with like-minded people, these casual events faciliate building your important networks. Some of our other socials, however are far more general, open to everyone and they're there for us to have a good time! -Mooting, giving our members practice in courtroom scenarios.
