Latham's wide-ranging portfolio includes some of the most recognised brands in the world, many of them on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis, all from a single source and available nationwide, thanks to its 10-strong network of depots. With such an impressive and rich history, James Latham has witnessed and often participated in, some of the major historical and technological developments of the last two and a half centuries and this has moulded the business into an extremely forward-looking organisation. Responding to the changing market landscape and catering not only for the rapidly growing number of architects and designers within its customer base but also the increase in specification contracts from both the commercial and residential sectors, the business opened a showroom in central London in 2016. This year, it has also invested almost £15m in two state-of-the-art, purpose-built sites in Bristol and Leicester, increasing capacity in both locations by 35 percent. The company will only source materials from suppliers who are operating within the laws of their own country. The company is also a member and supporter of the Timber Trade Federation and was the first signatory to the Federation's Responsible Purchasing Policy. All James Latham's depots are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC®) certified.
