The Chicago Mosaic School is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the art of mosaic. We provide opportunities for comprehensive study with experts from around the world and professionally trained artists who elevate and rethink this ancient art form. CMS increases awareness and appreciation for this medium, and offers the community the chance to explore, learn and experience the wonders of mosaic. Established in 2005, CMS has grown into a thriving arts education community center. We are uniquely positioned to provide opportunities to individuals and organizations locally and around the world. In addition to the school, we are proud of our gallery, GoCM, The Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics, which highlights artists such as Verdiano Marzi, Pamela Irving, Karen Ami, and Toyoharu Kii as well as invitational and juried exhibitions throughout the year.
