The Allman Brothers Band Museum at the Big House guarantees that the dreams, music, and legacy created so long ago by the band will live on; your support of the Big House Foundation makes this possible! The Big House Museum was once the home of the original Allman Brothers Band, family members, and crew members as well as home base for their operations after their move to Macon in 1969 to join Capricorn Records. The Allman Brothers Band, who, as the founders of what became known as Southern rock, changed the course of popular American music. Today, The Big House is home to the largest collection of Allman Brothers Band memorabilia in the world. We host parties, concerts, weddings, and have a youth drumming foundation for Macon/Bibb County elementary students.
