My wife and I stayed one night at the Belva Lockwood Inn. This is a wonderfully restored old mansion in Owego NY. The owners, Ike and Julie, live on site so any concerns that come up (we had none) can be taken care of immediately. Everything about this Inn is first class from the decor all the way to the bedsheets. Lots of history to learn in this Inn named in honor of Belva Lockwood, the first woman to run for President of the United States. We drove 8 hours to get there and it was worth it. Can't say enough good things about it. Just go!
