We do this through a number of air, land, and human exposure monitoring programs. Mission The WBEA is a multi-stakeholder, consensus-based organization that leads in state-of-the-art environmental monitoring to enable informed decision-making. Company Overview The WBEA is a not-for-profit association that operates a network of continuous air monitoring stations and a number of air, land, and human exposure monitoring programs. Description The environmental monitoring work that the WBEA is conducting generates scientifically sound and accurate information, which in turn allows key stakeholders – such as government and regulators – to make informed environmental management decisions. General Information The WBEA has representation from 40 member organizations, including Indigenous communities, industry, three levels of government, and non-government organizations. The WBEA's environmental monitoring work is the most integrated and intensive focus linking air and terrestrial monitoring in any one area, anywhere in Canada.
