Garden Creek Ranch was founded in 1963 on 100-acres located on the eastern hillsides of Alexander Valley, Sonoma County. In 1969 and of the first to plant Cabernet Sauvignon, we began with a fierce commitment to winegrowing world-class vineyards. Today, our sustainably grown vineyards include 72-acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay alongside a few acres of each Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne. With a second adventure in the cool climate Anderson Valley in Mendocino of 170 acres of high elevation with 10-acres planted to three individual clones of Pinot Noir. In 2001, we built our winery with a dedication to craft wines with pure reflection of our land. Our wines include -- a proprietary Bordeaux assemblage Garden Creek Alexander Valley Tesserae (Cabernet Sauvignon), a Garden Creek Alexander Valley Chardonnay, a clonal selection and a Warnelius-Miller Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. We meticulously produce 2,000 cases of wine annually - grown, produced and bottled by the hands of our family. The intricate, prodigious details of a wine speaking place. We believe very little manipulation is best to produce a wine able to age for decades with transparency reflecting the land where it comes from and the unique vintage. As a husband and wife team, our wine growing knowledge is over 90 years. In winemaking, our family has farmed our land for five decades and our greatest asset with an intimate relationship with our vines into crafting exquisite serious wines.
