Clara Yarn was founded in 2014 by veteran yarn critic and New York Times-bestselling author Clara Parkes with the intent of seeking out noteworthy farms, flocks, processors, and mills, and bringing their story to the public through the thoughtful creation of small-batch yarns. Clara Yarn is the pop-up retail arm of a larger editorial odyssey to understand what makes yarn tick and why it matters. As we care about what we're putting in our bodies, so must we begin to think about what we put on them -- where it came from, how it came to us, and who it touched along the way. Behind every Clara Yarn is a story of passion and perseverance, craftsmanship and community. We currently release a few batches a year, and when they're gone, they're gone.
