Pine Ridge Dental Wellness is owned by Dr. Lazaro Acosta, who has over 25 years of dental experience. Dr. Acosta was originally born in Cuba where he graduated in 1990 with a General Dentist degree, and furthered his studies to become an Oral Surgeon. Later on, he left Cuba and moved to Santiago Chile, where he attended the University of Chile in order to revalidate his degree as a General Dentist. After living in Chile for 7 years, he decided to chase his American dream and move to the United States. Through years of hard work, he graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2012 where he was selected to attend an honors program in oral medicine. Among other accomplishments, he is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a member of the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental association.
