Shree Jagdish Chewda Mart(JCM) was established by Raja Ratanlal Keshavlal Kandoi in the year 1938, with a modest beginning in a small shop at vadodara, Gujarat.It is named after one of his four sons - Shree jagdish Ratanlal Kandoi and had its brush with fame with sincere efforts of Shree Jagdish Bhailalbhai Kandoi - his third son. From the humble beginning in 1938 at a rented shop near NPCC area of vadodara , Bhailalbhai fought the odds and built a brand that became synonymous to a tasty Gujarati savory its specialty - Bhakharwadi. Shree Jagdish Chewda Mart today has four branches other than its parent branch in jubilibaug, which was the gift from the King of Baroda and was established almost a decade before India got its independence. Mr. Dhrupesh Kandoi, Grandson of Shree Bhailalbhai Kandoi is a young and hardworking businessman and is currently Managing Director of JCM. He aims to preserve the age old taste that his forefathers developed and to ensure the same, all products are manufactured without the use of automated machines by cooks who have been part of JCM since 4 decades. Mr. Dhrupesh Kandoi shares the same vision that his Grandfather did and after joining the family business , JCM has expanded rapidly. Since , the time he took over in 2010, JCM has started 4 new branches in the city of vadodara and started exporting to various countries around the globe.
