Purpose To strengthen rural communities by supporting young people to be leaders. Vision Victorian rural and regional communities will be thriving, with strong input from skilled, resilient and motivated young people. Mission We will collaborate with partners, donors, communities and alumni in delivering services to young rural Victorians that assist them to develop their personal, professional and leadership capacities. WHAT WE DO: We provide scholarships to support young rural people attend university or vocational education and training. We provide transition and career mentoring to young rural Victorians once they have left school. Our alumni and staff have created the highly successful Young Rural Leaders program which is run twice a year and is based on pillars of 'Sustainable Me, Sustainable Community and Sustainable Environment. (Over 300 people from 119 towns in Victoria have participated.) Our alumni have created 'Dream Seeds' our program for Year 6 students which aims to build aspiration, resilience and connection.
