StoneSong is a welcoming space nestled in the Allegany Mountains of Western Maryland where we are inspired to open and deepen our connection to Nature and each other through experiential activities, personal and community empowerment. It includes a beautiful farmhouse overlooking 23 acres of luscious land, a renovated barn that serves as a retreat center, and a few other outbuildings. Nature has bestowed StoneSong with a pond, a small creek, trees, flowers, and abundant wildlife while a community of good friends has built a fire circle, a sweat lodge and nature trails. StoneSong hosts workshops, retreats, and also simple weekend get-aways for individuals, couples, and groups looking to restore and strengthen themselves while being immersed in a peaceful and enchanting mountain valley. We offer yoga and wellness workshops with a variety of highly experienced and nature-loving teachers, trainers, musicians, and elders to share their gifts through events year round. We are also committed to offering a safe refuge to native forest, watershed, and wildlife. We actively participate in a Forest Stewardship Plan with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. This plan has been developed to help us manage our forest in an environmentally conscious manner and grow as stewards of the land.
