Wellness is more than being free from illness: it is a process of change and growth towards a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle. It is our goal, in an effort to combat homelessness, to offer residency at a priority to those without stable homes that are diagnosed with a serious mental illness. Through our MindSpan Wellness Communities we will offer, not just supervised independent living facilities, but opportunities to work, learn and socialize in a nurturing environment. This is key to developing wellness as a whole for each individual and, in the end, for our community as a whole. More importantly, this will be available and affordable to all.
