The EFAR (Emergency First Aid Responder) system is an adaptable, low-cost and scalable prehospital emergency care system designed specifically for communities in low and middle-income countries. Using an innovative model that gives communities ownership and empowerment over their own emergency care, the EFAR system is also designed to be integrated with existing healthcare structures, and can be used to support an existing EMS.
