Launched in June of 2011, the Avant-Garde Art & Craft Shows are a series of art and craft events that are held throughout Ohio year-round. Each event showcases local handmade artisans and crafters, drawing attention to the amazing eclectic talent located in the area! A portion of all proceeds from each event is donated to a local charity within the community of where the shows are held. Annually, there are 25-30 shows a year throughout the Mid-west. The events are put on by Rebecca Adele PR & Events. The founder, Rebecca Silverstein, has grown up in Ohio her entire life and is passionate about supporting local arts and charities. In addition, Silverstein is a former crafter herself giving her the experience and background of being on both ends of the business as a customer and as a vendor. Silverstein also has a background in event planning, public relations, advertising, marketing, and non-profit services. It is her goal to continue to grow the Avant-Garde show's presence and to offer a unique platform for artisans and crafters to sell their goods to the public. The goal behind the Avant-Garde shows is a simple one: Support local handmade businesses/entrepreneurs and give back to your community...
