The Jewish Federation of Rio de Janeiro, is the main organ of the Jewish community in Rio, and it is non-political and profitable association. Aims: - Represent the interests of the Jewish community - Disseminate and promote awareness about the activities of the Jewish community - Observe, broadcast and follow the traditions and precepts of Judaism - Act in the interest of the community in general and in particular in the sectors of education, teaching, welfare, philanthropy, culture, religion and security - oppose to any forms of racial and religious discrimination
