Local Brain was founded in August 2013 to help small businesses execute and optimize in-store promotion initiatives. Local Brain’s technology automatically detects a customer’s presence in-store and triggers a promotional message. The message could be a link to download a special offer, reserve a table, enter a sweepstakes, play a game, or earn loyalty points. The goal is to influence purchases, encourage return visits, promote inventory and create a better experience for the consumer. The Local Brain platform includes a range of modules that help SMBs manage, execute and measure their marketing success. The platform is white labeled and resold by media companies and ad agencies.
