Bergerac is a artisan distillery located on the farm “Kabonaatjieskraal” near De Doorns, Western Cape, South Africa. Bergerac makes up part of the Karoo 1 Hotel Village resort. We create a range of cognacs and fortified wines produced from locally cultivated raw materials with a commitment to traditional methods and producing exclusive quality products. The area surrounding De Doorns is well known for it’s perfect climate for wine and spirits production, with good winter rainfalls, fertile soil and warm, dry summers. Bergerac also provide essential services to other producers in the area via production consultations, microbioligical services and wine production analysis. We use only natural wine during production ensuring that our product are perservative & sulphate free.
