The journal has received prestigious awards for its professional work and its format. In past years, it has featured interviews and work from writers such as Robert Penn Warren, Roy Blount, Jr., and Bobbie Ann Mason. The Vanderbilt Review staff works in the Student Media Newsroom in Suite 130 of Sarratt Student Center.
