Cambridge University Russian Society CURS was founded in 2001 to bring together the people from the Russian Federation, the former Soviet republics and anyone else interested in the Russian culture and language. The list of our honorary members includes the famous journalist Leonid Parfyonov, the Russian rock legend Boris Grebenschikov and rock musicians Leva and Shura B2, and the Russian Ambassador to the UK His Excellency Alexander Yakovenko.
