The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild is the authoritative and trustworthy resource uniting the Arizona independent beer-brewing community. Educating and encouraging people everywhere to recognize and insist on the uncompromising quality and exceptional variety of our locally crafted beers. The Guild works in partnership with 90 independent brewers to promote the virtues and raise the profile of Arizona’s locally crafted beers. Our vision is to make Arizona independent craft beers the drink of choice among consumers everywhere. The Guild is the premier producer of Arizona’s finest craft beer events beginning each year with Arizona Beer Week in February. The 9th Arizona Beer Week® (Feb 7-Feb 16, 2019) is a statewide celebration hosted by the 100 breweries of the state, partner distributors, allied retailers, bars, restaurants, fans, and beer culture mavens. While the focus is Arizona beer, our weeks takes all comers with 100’s of events in all corners of the state. At the heart of the week is the 19th Arizona Strong Beer Festival® (Feb 9, 2019) boasting 9 acres of beer lovers paradise under the warm Arizona skies. With 10K participants, this “city of beer” boasts 5 major activation areas, 2 stage areas featuring live local and original music, as well as 120 of the finest breweries Arizona and the region, have to offer. There are plenty of food and beverage opportunities and select vendor sales. While the festival used to be about strong beer above 8%, it has come to be known as an opportunity to feature brands that are strong in flavor, character, and tradition. AZ Brew-Con & Tradeshow® (July 26) is an annual event featuring craft beer experts in technical and operational fields presented by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild! This is a one-day conference for those in the craft beer/brewing community, looking to connect with people in the industry or join the industry. The 6th Real Wild and Woody Festival® (July 27) will once again welcome a variety of fresh flavors and seasonal specialties poured by more than 75 of the Southwest’s best craft brewers with over 350 craft beers, there is something for everyone. Baja Beer Festival® in downtown Tucson’s historic Armory Park (April) features beers from Arizona's best breweries and food (for purchase) from the regions most talented chefs. The Guild is also an agent of change within Arizona. Through its work with local legislators, policymakers and strategic partners, the Guild has been at the forefront of modernizing laws, rules and regulations that help Arizona distributors, retailers, breweries, and other main street businesses thrive and compete robustly within the beer industry. In 2017, Brewers Association estimates that the Arizona beer industry has a 1-billion-dollar impact on the state’s economy. A partnership with the Guild is a smart and effective tool in accessing and leveraging marketing and sales resources. The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild is a 501c(6) business trade organization celebrating 20 years in 2018.
