The company was founded in 1983 as Cain Ouse Associates and changed its name in 2011 to Cain Thomas Associates, Inc. to reflect the ownership of Jay Cain and Scott Thomas. In addition to traditional MEP Design services, we also offer Commissioning, LEED Consulting, Energy Modeling and expert witness type services. In addition to building systems, our electrical department provides roadway, street scape and bridge lighting design. Our mechanical department has been instrumental in receiving four design awards in recent years for innovative and energy efficient design strategies. Innovative design strategies can be an economical approach and do not need to be the most expensive design.
