More info about The Canvas: Our Cafe is vegan because it’s a choice we can all make, whether every day, or one day a week, to help ourselves, the animals and the planet. We invite you to answer the questions on the walls so that this space feels like yours, and also to remind you that all of us are the same, with memories and aspirations, which we hope will encourage added kindness and compassion. Our Pay it Forward board enables acts of kindness; you’re welcome to pay forward for someone in our local homeless community to enjoy a hot drink or meal. Our Community Hub is a space we gift to you for the launch of events that improve the lives of others. The space has hosted free yoga classes for local families, drama classes for shy children, drop-in groups for young people struggling with mental health, free business training for social entrepreneurs. We see our Hub like soil for the growth of great ideas, and we’re always looking for new projects and people. Do you have an idea that could help others?
