Life Beyond Tourism® was created by the Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco® – Life Beyond Tourism®, that was born from the initial intuition of the hotel director and businessman Paolo Del Bianco to encourage, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, knowledge between the countries of central and eastern Europe with the West. With this aim, the Fondazione started promoting meetings in Florence between young people from those countries.
