Since its inception in 1998, Sioo Wood Protection has conducted research and development of environmentally friendly wood protection products for both professionels and consumers. Our products are based on a patent pending silicon-potassium technology that gives the wood a natural, silver-grey surface with an unrivaled life span. We have research, production and offices in Gothenburg, Sweden. Sioo:x essentially consists of a unique combination of silicon and potassium. Two natural substances found all around us and which together create a natural multi-protection similar to nature’s own wood protection. Our products protect wood panels up to 15 years and decking up to 12 years. SiOO:X products have a unique ability to penetrate all types of wood and during a crystallizing process strengthening it and thereby creating a multifunction protection. We call it the silica-shield.
