We do projects! We design and improve processes and products. We evaluate ideas you're too busy to do. We look at the technical, business, legal and everything in between. We work for pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, automobile parts manufacturers, banks, wineries. We would like to work for you! Technology, Engineering and Management (TEAM) is a multidisciplinary project course offered by the Department of Chemical Engineering at Queen's University that links 4th year students (arts, science, engineering, law, commerce and business) with industries seeking additional consulting resources. Started in 1995, TEAM provides participating companies with a unique opportunity to gain valuable business insights for a modest investment. TEAM brings together the talents and enthusiasm of Canada's future arts, science, engineering, law, and business leaders to address your organization's challenges and advance your goals. When you join the TEAM , we assess your needs and evaluate the challenges associated with your project. A 3 to 5 member cross-functional consulting team (arts, science, engineering, law, and business students) are assigned to address the various facets of your company's initiative. A fee of $6000 is charged to participating clients in order to cover ordinary student travel, research and/or prototyping costs. If travel by air or extraordinary costs are required (i.e. travel to Alberta) you are asked to cover those costs. TEAM provides a Web based teleconference centre to effectively service remote clients.
