The FBBC was founded in March 2015 under the patronage of the French Ambassador H.E Ms Anne de la Blache. It is open to French and Batswana stakeholders and all people interested in strengthening the links between Botswana and France in the business sector, whether based in Botswana, in the region or in France. The objectives of the club are: to provide a platform for networking among its members to encourage information exchange on business opportunities and sharing of best practices to provide its members with exclusive and new information about doing business in France and Botswana
