The National Economic Social and Environmental Council is a consultative institution, a framework for dialogue, consultation, and proposals, in all areas of the life of the citizens and the nation. Its principal missions are the following: • Involvment of civil society in the national consultation on economic and social development policies. • Continuity of dialogue and consultation between National Economic Social and Environmental partners. • Assessment and study of issues of national interest in the economic, social, educational, training, and higher education fields. • Reformulation of proposals and recommendations related to public affairs.
