The Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC) is an NGO created to increase citizens’ participation in governance processes in a way that improves the integrity of public and private sector processes. Our program areas: 1) Procurement Governance 2) Court Administration and Case Management 3) Nigeria Integrity Film Awards (HOMEVIDA) 4) Digital Inclusion and Safer Internet PROCUREMENT GOVERNANCE Our Procurement governance initiative aims to ensure that the objectives of the public procurement reforms in Nigeria are being implemented whilst promoting open contracting principles. Our advocacy led to Nigeria’s public commitment to adopt the Open Contracting Data Standards at the 2015 London Anti-corruption summit and the creation of our open contracting portal Budeshi, which is currently being implemented in Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, and Malawi. COURT ADMINSTRATION AND CASE MANGENEMT The Court Administration and Case Management Project aims to build effective and professional law enforcement and justice sector institutions. The CACM furthers the implementation of the program by deploying case management systems to promote speedy and efficient dispensation of justice by state courts, and to the extent that it makes court processes more efficient, by other justice sector institutions. HOMEVIDA The Nigeria Integrity Film Awards (HomeVida) offer filmmakers incentives to promote core national and corporate values in their films. We have helped young filmmakers create short films that promote social issues over the last ten years. DIGITAL INCLUSION AND SAFER INTERNET (DISI) The DISI program seeks to promote universal access to ICTs for sustained individual and economic development; and for full participation in society in a way that preserves the safety and freedom of the internet DISI also seeks to preserve internet freedom.
