Great Wave Therapy
www.greatwavetherapy.comGina Kanagawa Schwartz, LMFT ATR is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington state, and has been registered as an Art Therapist since 2008. She's worked with children, teens, and families since 2005 in both clinical, and educational settings. She provides individual and group therapy, and helps those who suffer from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, grief, trauma, learning difficulties, and developmental disabilities with extensive experience working with youth on the Autistic spectrum, and their parents and families. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy that is tailored to the needs of the individual client or family system in my office, and generally combine art therapy techniques with DBT, play, psychodynamic theories (including object relations and attachment), and Rogerian Client-Centered Therapy. Within the therapeutic relationship, She draws upon a wide variety of clinically-based tools, especially humankind’s innate creativity, to assist clients in practicing more mindful, and authentic ways of connecting with others at home, and in the world at large.
