www.kgsafoundation.orgThe KGSA Foundation provides financial and technical support to the the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy (KGSA) a free secondary school that educates 130 girls annually in Kibera, Nairobi – the largest informal settlement in Africa. KGSA cares for the whole girl providing a holistic education including academics, extra-curricular activities, nutrition, healthcare, mentorship programs, and college scholarships to unlock potential, expand opportunities, and enable each girl with the ability to shape her future. We believe that local problems need local solutions. We harness the power of the #girleffect to create a stronger, more resilient Kibera. Since 2006, KGSA has graduated over 370 girls including 70 who have pursued higher education such as Asha Jaffar, a journalist and activist featured in the New York Times.
