The Austrian Institute for Regional Studies (ÖIR) consults, supports and accompanies public and private bodies in strategic issues with a territorial context. Its scope of work covers European research projects as well as the practical applications of project development, impact analyses and communication processes at the local level. We act at the interface between scientific, technical, economical, environmental and social aspects of territorial development. We have a long-standing experience with the management of interdisciplinary European and national projects providing consulting services for public and private customers on regional, national and European level.
