Saoirse Successful Living
www.saoirsesuccessfulliving.ieI am an accredited Psychotherapist, Psychologist and Supervisor with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapists (IAHIP) and a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). In 2008, I started Saoirse Counselling and Psychotherapy Service as I have always had a genuine interest in improving people’s personal well-being. I have worked with individuals and groups for over 30 years in various healthcare sectors. I currently lecture student psychotherapists at degree level and teach in further education. I regularly facilitate my own successful living workshops, along with individual and couple therapy sessions. I previously worked with the HSE Adult Counselling Service, providing therapy for those who suffered childhood abuse. In addition, I worked with families and individuals bereaved by suicide, as well as teenagers experiencing social exclusion and in crisis. My approach to Counselling and Therapy is client focused, based on the Humanistic and Existential Principles of choice, autonomy, personal responsibility, freedom and meaning. I also draw from human growth concepts, to help you recognise patterns in your life which may be negatively interrupting relationships, prosperity and abundance. I further facilitate these explorations, using a mindful body approach. These interventions increase awareness and provide you with a greater understanding of the importance having a mind, body, soul and spirit connection.
