Family Medical Transport (FMT, LLC) is an emergent / non-emergent private ambulance company located in the Charleston area. Our company is locally owned and operated by health care professionals that are determined to fix what is wrong with the private ambulance industry. Namely, our goals are to provide courteous, professional care to our patients while providing prompt, on time response for the healthcare facilities and customers that we serve. We are licensed as an advanced life support (ALS) provider through the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and carry full coverage professional and general liability insurance policies.
